Went in for another recheck. Dr. thinks it looks either the same or a bit better. I think it looks less reddish. So I say better... LOL
Got yet another shot in my hip. *grumble The last one left a nice huge bruise.
Tomorrow I'm off to the specialist...hope I can find it
Cam won't go with me.....*sigh men

Subject: Bite update *hospital recheck

Went in for a recheck. It's infected...They gave me another shot in my hip. I wasn't at all enthused. The nurse I had today is actually one of my clients. LOL

Well they took x-rays...Not broken but they think the cat pierced the tendon in my finger. Which is why my whole wrist and arm have been hurting. I have to go back in tomorrow for another recheck. Say prayers and good thoughts that it's better. Reguardless, on Monday I have to go see a hand specialist in Asheville.

If the tendon gets infected, he said they would have to do surgery.

IT WILL BE BETTER TOMORROW & THE INFECTION WILL BE GONE

Subject: Bitten bad by cat

Typing w/ one hand so i'll not be using completly norm grammar.

Why?

I was bitten very badly today. Very.... It was a cat. She did not stop until I screamed. I did not scream until the last bite to my ring finger went to the bone. Left hand, fingers, and arm. In total I think 6 or 7 bites. some deep scratches. She did not bite out of fear. I had already let her go... she was being drooped to the floor when she flipped so hard it bent a nail on my right hand back. That nail is now black. Let her go, she flipped and latched on. She is the size of Iris and Artemis....maybe bigger. I was trying to shake her off.
When she finally let go she just stared at me all fluffed...I blocked her from leaving the room and she ran into Victor's kennel. He was outside scratching and jumping to get in...really concerned. I locked her in it and took off upstairs. Put it under water and it was a bloody mess. Thought quick to take off my wedding band. Just in time because my finger is swollen the size of a hotdog.
It was bad enough that after it wouldn't quit bleeding they had a coworker take me to urgent care hospital. The clinic says they are covering the cost.
My arm and hand is all wrapped and the pain is unbelievable. Filled the precriptions....100 dollars >< damn
They gave me a tetnus shot...and a fast acting antibiotic shot in my hip. I have had shots in my hip before. I begged her to put it in my arm. No go....Shots in the hip are the most painful shots you can get, & this antibiotic burns while being injected. The syringe thing was the size of a pencil!!!
The kitties mom called while i was in the hosp. and said "so is she bleeding yet?" Joking of course. Secretary, also daughter in-law to kitties owner, told her "yeah , actuallly she's at urgent care now"
MOM: "ohhh yeah right" Secretary: "no really, she is, she got bit really badly" O_O ...
This really sucks...REALLY I just got to take the painkiller...waiting for it to kick in

Hope I can work on monday...I will anyways LOL Don't know how but I can't miss much work ...

Subject: Sarge's 1st Annual Dog Walk (public post)

Went to the Sarge's First Annual Dog Walk. ^_^ I joined the organization also <3 They ended up raising over $20,000 and that was announced long before the event was over. They raised alot of money today to go toward saving other cats and dogs from euthanasia.
